Abhayaranyam, Kaprikkad is 2 kilometers away from Kodanad. The nearby towns are Perumbavoor, Kalady and Aluva.
By Bus : Once you reach Perumbavoor, there are lots of buses from there to the destination. But from Kalady, there are buses only till Kodanad and then from there it will be better to go by an auto-rickshaw.
Airport : From Cochin International Airport, the easiest way to reach Kaprikkad will be to take a cab which will approximately take a 35 mins without traffic.
Train : Even though the closest railway station is Angamaly, Aluva is more preferable since all the trains may not stop at Angamaly. From there you can either book a cab or go by a bus to any of the nearby towns (Perumbavoor / Kalady) and from there you can take another bus to Kodanad and travel rest by an auto-rickshaw.
Car :
a) If you are from Thrissur go straight to Malayatoor via Angamaly and Kalady then to Kodanad through the Malayatoor-Kodanad bridge.
b) If you are coming from Munnar turn right when you reach Kuruppampady, then there will be approximately a 15 mins drive to Kaprikkad.
c) If you are heading from Aluva, drive to Kuruppampady touching Perumbavooor and then to Kodanad.
